Waiting for you..........

I am waiting for you My Love
As i always have
And I will always be
At the beach beside my hut.

I am still walking on the sand
Looking at the clouds covering the moon
Laughing incessantly at me
As if I am some loon.

But,nothing matters to me
More than your vincing smile
Your touch so tender, your love so mine
Helping me wait for you all this time.

I am still facing noon and the moon
With the hope of seeing you soon
At the beach beside my hut
Where I am waiting for you My Love.

Is it Inflation or Inflection?

Hey !!

I was perplexed, mystified, infuriated and petrified, all at the same time.It was not because of a terrorist attack or an equivocal statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was just that i was out in the market buying grocery for my family.I had never done this before. However,I had fair idea of the prices of the items.I bought 2 Kg. Sugar,2 Kg. Potato and 1 Kg. Arhar Dal.I know you must me thinking why I am giving you all these details. However,as we move on,you would surely get the rationale behind this. Now moving on with the story,I took out a hundred rupee note with an anticipation of getting some back and surprise or rather impress my mom with the acumen I had for shopping. To my surprise,i was asked to pay another hundred rupees.I paid without any fuss. But,here is Economics.A flat 100% Inflation.. Government can definitely blame it on the late arrival of monsoons. But,the truth is that this inflation is the culmination of Hoarding and Black Marketing prevalent across the nation.A farmer, even today, sells at less than half the market price. But,the distributors and middlemen earn more than the farmers for nothing.A proper Public Distribution System is the need of the hour. This Inflation is bound to bring about an Inflection in the Consumerism in India.A lot of questions are waiting around the corner with the hope of getting noticed.

Is it really Inflation or Inflection for our economy? Will this end somehow or will it bring our economy to a level where we will be required to combat it everyday? People are quiet till now as they are pinning their hope on the Prime Minister,Manmohan Singh and waiting for that miracle. However, prime minister should not test the patience to the hilt.

I hope Prime Minister is Aware..........

A decade after Kargil War

Hey !!!

The bad thing about a not-so-great-nation is its ungratefulness.Recently, media commemorated the 10th Anniversary of kargil War.On every channel, there was a flood of news related to the jawans, who lost their lives in their endeavor to protect this great nation, and their families.Songs of valour enthused us all and made us feel proud of our army. The very idea that these Jawans lost their lives for us Indians made us get goosebumps. We all cried with the pain of their family members and we all were proud that these people were born in our country. It is not that easy to give your life away. The jawans had only one driving factor--- Patriotism. They placed their motherland's security before every other thing. They live for this country and die for it.
My basic question is that why can't we celebrate their valour every year? Why can't politicians come to the fore and acknowledge their contribution?Don't they realise that the map of our nation would have changed if the Jawans would not have staked their lives?
I think that in our perseverance in becoming a great nation,we should learn the art of being grateful to the people who helped build and secure the nation.Let's not play this foul game of politics everywhere.

We Love You and Acknowledge your Effort Martyrs........

May your soul rest in peace and inspire millions.

Amen !!!!!!!

Perspectives.............

Hey !!!

Isn't life like a box of chocolates? Some of you might say that it is.But then, isn't it a path full of thorns? Some of you might again consider it to be true. But then, isn't Life the same for all of us?
If yes, then why do we take it differently? Perhaps because,we all are different and with that difference, there is a difference in Perspective----The way of looking at things. That is what makes us an optimist or a pessimist. It differentiates a Hitler and a Mahatma Gandhi. Life is tough, isn't it? It is a journey of struggles. Now,it is upto us that how we look at it. There can be various perspectives but the one I can associate with myself is that:
"Life is like a sport-lively,energetic and testing-and you need to be at your best to be remembered as 'CHAMPIONS'. "

Let us all play the sport with all fairness and passion.

Let the right PERSPECTIVE drive you in the right direction.

Ascent-------The real High

Hi !

After a month of training in the corporate world,it is the time to say good-bye to all my friends with whom I spent some precious days of my life.It is always a difficult time for somebody like me to bear the brunt of getting parted. However, now i understand the importance of it. Our 'Ascent' training was really fun as we had ample opportunity to spend time with people whom we would have never met if it not had been for this training. I met some wonderful people with different approach and different 'mantra' of life. All of them taught me things in one way or the other. Thank you all.
From soporific lectures to exciting projects, we had it all. Now,we all have different ways, different paths to traverse, let us all be confident and optimistic that we have what it takes to fulfill one's dreams.Let us 'Bh'alue our life more than ever before.
Good Luck to all of you.....................

This Monday,I will again go to the office but this time i will be alone.........

Keep in touch fellas....................

I hope all my friends, wherever they are,are happy and enjoying themselves and celebrating this friendship day with Love and affection. Friendship is not a relation but a religion if you believe in it.How beautiful this relation is !!!!! We meet a stranger at some point of our lives and he/she becomes our friend forever. We share,Love and Fight but still we are ready to give our everything to see our friend happy. Isn't it amazing?? You don't share your unknown side with anybody in your life but you share everything with your friend. Friendship is always unconditional-we don't lose or gain in a Friendship,We love and realize the value of being loved.
We live in a friendship the way we are born with no pride and prejudices.

Let Friendship rule this world.

Being Modern..........Way to go Calcutta.

Hey !!!!!!!!!!

Calcutta(I prefer Calcutta to kolkata, no offenses),a city of joy is going through a kind of change which is witnessed once in a few decades in any city. I have come back to this city nearly after four years ( I was doing my Engineering Course in the mean time). This city seems to have changed. A whole lot of skyscrapers have replaced the colonial possessions of this city, small shops which offered warmth have been mostly overdone by malls,Vendors replaced by Plazas and the art and cultural bent replaced by the madness for Modernity. Is Calcutta getting more modern or is it a desperation by a metro which is considered to be least developed among all the other metros ( I am just talking statistically)?
or The taste of people have really changed??

I tried to dwell on this proposition for a while but what surprised me the most was the recursive nature of thoughts-one answer leading to a lot more new questions and questions seeming endless as in a battle with the solutions, which it hates so much. And finally, I could conclude something. This city is on its way to Modernity-modernity defined in a manner which calls cities like New York and Bombay(Sorry again,Bombay suits me better) modern. But,i could not understand that does being modern mean getting away from the very roots which gave one recognition.

Modernity is the transient, the fleeting, the contingent; it is one half of art
, the other being the eternal and the immovable.”

Let's get modern folks..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A different World..........................

Hi !!!!

It has been two months since i have left my college and have been out in the real world. So very different and so exciting with loads of opportunities and tons of uncertainties. At times, it seems that this new world is better than the world i knew as a student. I am a grown up now with all the capability and potential that our parents wants us to have in order to live a life full of happiness and peace. It seems we have blossomed to a fragrant flower. Yeah, we have become flowers which cannot proactively change the condition of the garden full of wilted leaves and trees. What we all care about is that the plant we are attached to does not rot or wilt overlooking the fact that the plant is there in the rotten garden. Yeah, but what one can do "Nobody is perfect, that is why pencils have erasers".
So,talking about the world i am in: it is antagonistic to the theoretical "utopian" concept of an ideal world. But,whom I can blame.Perhaps,no one.Should I blame my education system for not making me aware of the nitty gritty of the practical world? But,i don't think that my blame would do me any good.
I know that somewhere or the other we all are facing the same problem. So,let's fight till we win the title of "Mr. Survived".
Keep Smiling folks :).

The Final Fantasy

Hi Everyone !!!!!!!!

People say that "with every end starts a new beginning and for every beginning, there is an end".The end is coming,I believe,of the beginning that we had 4 years ago of a miraculously brilliant journey, which had loads of fun, tonnes of 'masti' and litres of emotions. It feels bad to witness the end of a journey of a lifetime. It hurts when I see my friends in their eyes.It has the understanding and realisation of that end.Whatever we shared, however we fought, wherever we went,we did together.I became "We" and we are nearing the phase of life when We will again become "I".The truth is that at the beginning, every day seemed to be a year, but now every year seems a second.I don't whether we would meet again or not but what I know is that if we meet we will meet again in the way we would leave. That is life and friendship in short for me.Now,today,at the verge of the final fantasy,I wish to live every moment like a life time. This is what I would have for all my life to cherish.I am not a billionaire but I have assets worth Trillions...the LOVE....priceless and Friendship....Unparalleled.

God,help me Live my FINAL FANTASY with delight and Love.
I will miss u my friends.

Billu Barber--- Really Sharp

Hey Friends !

I hope you all are doing great in your lives. At times I feel that life is really funny. It's fun is mostly subtle. It is like a chocolate nut immersed deep in a pastry. It is often invisible but leaves a great taste.

Billu Barber is that chocolate nut.It is simple and slow narrative, the way imperceptible to the human eye but it left a great taste. It reinvigorated the feeling of FRIENDSHIP and left a great impression.

It dealt with the hypocrite nature of the society-its ways and outlook. It was a  blend of humour and satire keeping audience guessing of what is next.
It proved once again that "Simplicity is the best style."

Billu is not only a character on celluloid but he is the representative of millions of people living in rural area, who help hundreds of Sahir Khan to get success in their individual lives. It is only that Billu was lucky that he got his Sahir back.

I just pray that each Billu gets his friend,Sahir and each Sahir his Billu.

Satyam-----The Real Story

I was at my home when Satyam CEO Ramalinga Raju came out with the astonishing truth leaving a commoner shocked, surprised and with an obvious choice that is, to hate him.The whole of media,Political icons and great economists hated him.He was everywhere- on the front page of the newspaper,in the TV Headlines or on the cover of esteemed magazines. We disliked him and we did that with unity. We were unanimously accusative.

I agree to all this. However,do we look at the other side of the story? He was a great man,a visionary and one of the greatest entrepreneurs. He did it for the country through all these years establishing a great corporation like Satyam.Although he might not have another way of escape,he was honest in accepting his fault. He did not play the "Blame-game" that our politicians are adept in.He made a mistake and that too a great one.He lost the faith of the common man.Greed Kills. He was no exception. But,should we play the same accusation game that we are good at.Should we remember him for what he did right?Should not we take the right lesson of confining to the laws of the land? Will this lesson end Corruption?
Should we learn from him or blame him?
The choice is ours.Lets make our choices friends...............
