The bad thing about a not-so-great-nation is its ungratefulness.Recently, media commemorated the 10th Anniversary of kargil War.On every channel, there was a flood of news related to the jawans, who lost their lives in their endeavor to protect this great nation, and their families.Songs of valour enthused us all and made us feel proud of our army. The very idea that these Jawans lost their lives for us Indians made us get goosebumps. We all cried with the pain of their family members and we all were proud that these people were born in our country. It is not that easy to give your life away. The jawans had only one driving factor--- Patriotism. They placed their motherland's security before every other thing. They live for this country and die for it.
My basic question is that why can't we celebrate their valour every year? Why can't politicians come to the fore and acknowledge their contribution?Don't they realise that the map of our nation would have changed if the Jawans would not have staked their lives?
I think that in our perseverance in becoming a great nation,we should learn the art of being grateful to the people who helped build and secure the nation.Let's not play this foul game of politics everywhere.
We Love You and Acknowledge your Effort Martyrs........

May your soul rest in peace and inspire millions.
Amen !!!!!!!

We can make celebrations every year, remembering those martyrs who gave life, most precious gift of God, in the line of duty..But before that we should solves their problems..I read an article recently which said that they are not being provided bullet proof jackets..Making a celebration with wide media coverage will serve its purpose only when their needs get served properly!!
Right Pawan.
But,if their heroics get proper attention, they will get a platform wherein there problems can be brought to the fore. There is a need of realising the importance of jawans.Mainly, people,in our country, think that they did so because that was their duty. For them,it is important to value their heroics.
Jai Hind !!
