W.B.-Waste 'Bandhs'

This used to be the land of intellectual writings and revolutions. This used to be the land of Spiritual Guides and the Land Of Poets. Is it still so?This is a question which always occupies my mind and lead me to different areas of thoughts and allow me to reason the same on the basis of different schools of thought. However,I always fail to reach to a common reason.Perhaps, because of my incapacity as a thinker or because of unavailability of an answer. When I was young,Papa used to tell that a land is as good as people who inhabit it.A rare truth we would like to accept nowadays.I have grown young and my mind is infused with all sorts of thought today's world provides. But,I still I believe that my father was true in his saying to me when I was young.

West Bengal -------the state which has produced intellectuals, revolutionaries, poets and what not is at its nadir. And,the credit of it goes to WE,THE PEOPLE who always support all sorts of Bandhs. We support whether we agree to it or not.We know what is an outcome of Bandh. It is an occasion to celebrate. As a young one,I really find Bandh comforting and enthralling. On this day,I get to play on the always congested roads with my friends. And,we are also accompanied by the hungry children of Rickshawwallah and the daily workers.I feel happy at the end of the day at a thought of giving some happiness to the hungry children. However,a line of sadness touches me at a thought of their plight.Again,I am in a quandary.Conditional Happiness or Food?
I reach to one conclusion after a lot of contemplation.Bandh should never be supported. What do u say guys?
