Dear FM!Have mercy!

Hi Friends!
I hope you all are seated comfortably in front of your computer and browsing through sites of your choice.I would advise all of you to continue doing that for what is great in the virtual world is futile for the real one.For what is offered for free in this virtual world costs dearly in the real one.A few months ago,I was on one of my vacations to Kolkata. We,friends decided to have a get together. On one fine Sunday, we met in a mall and moved around, watched a movie and had lunch at Oh!Calcutta. We enjoyed without affecting our pocket much. This time around,I am again in Kolkata.I have called up my friends but hey! they are not willing to have a get together.Don't think that we don't share a nice bonding. Its mere economics dear.Inflation is between me and my friends. They complain about their limitation and I,well,do I have an option?I would wait for them till the things get settled.Mercy Chidambaram ji!Have mercy on us youth. Is this economics or some gimmick of the government to stop me from having a better time. What do you say my friends?

Bingo! I Live

Hitherto,I believed that existence of different forms of "ism" is quintessential for the survival of human race.Darwinism, a form of "ism" rules the day now."The winner takes it all " has become the jargon. But,is this how we want to move ahead? Can we give ourselves a sustainable development by following one of these "isms".Socialism,Communism,Capitalism,Darwinism,Neo-Capitalism..........Oh My God!Have we ever pondered how deeply we are held by the clutches of these principles.Had these principles ever been absolute?Experts would candidly say,"Nothing is Absolute".Cynics like me would never take this argument. There is an "Absolute" that exists. It is beyond the foul game of "isms".It is not the delusion of a philosopher's mind or fancy of a monarchy. It is the creation of an artist we all know and acknowledge. It is "Life-The Absolute".For what can be more important than what we live for, live because and live of.These 'isms' have been propounded to put restriction on life and to create a mental divide among the ones sharing life.Life, though, knows it all.It knows how to live, behave and laugh. For though it is ephemeral,it is worth vying for.
So,let's not celebrate these "isms" any more my friend. It is the time to celebrate"Life"."Isms" curtail rights but life comes in full package, without a plan,to give its own to every individual.

CAN?????/

Can the journey be so beautiful
That you forget the Destination,
In pursuit of Happiness,
you get so involved
That pursuit becomes happiness.

Can passion be so intense
That winning won't make any sense,
With passage of time
Failure would make one more strong.

Can Convalescence be so satisfying,
That accidents don't hurt,
That tender love and soft touch
Heals one without the pills.

Can dreams be so intoxicating
That Pragmatism leaves the mind
In the world of Fantasy,
We remain kids with all our rhymes.

When you love and live
All the "Can't's" can be true,
Just Live and Live
Lest time will be through.

W.B.-Waste 'Bandhs'

This used to be the land of intellectual writings and revolutions. This used to be the land of Spiritual Guides and the Land Of Poets. Is it still so?This is a question which always occupies my mind and lead me to different areas of thoughts and allow me to reason the same on the basis of different schools of thought. However,I always fail to reach to a common reason.Perhaps, because of my incapacity as a thinker or because of unavailability of an answer. When I was young,Papa used to tell that a land is as good as people who inhabit it.A rare truth we would like to accept nowadays.I have grown young and my mind is infused with all sorts of thought today's world provides. But,I still I believe that my father was true in his saying to me when I was young.

West Bengal -------the state which has produced intellectuals, revolutionaries, poets and what not is at its nadir. And,the credit of it goes to WE,THE PEOPLE who always support all sorts of Bandhs. We support whether we agree to it or not.We know what is an outcome of Bandh. It is an occasion to celebrate. As a young one,I really find Bandh comforting and enthralling. On this day,I get to play on the always congested roads with my friends. And,we are also accompanied by the hungry children of Rickshawwallah and the daily workers.I feel happy at the end of the day at a thought of giving some happiness to the hungry children. However,a line of sadness touches me at a thought of their plight.Again,I am in a quandary.Conditional Happiness or Food?
I reach to one conclusion after a lot of contemplation.Bandh should never be supported. What do u say guys?

We,The Proletariat

Things are manic in today's world.Liberalisation and Globalisation has brought us to the extent of Universal Brotherhood and it has fulfilled the dream of "the world as a small village".Still, cupidity rules the day.Incorprations have really spread like mushrooms but less care is taken of the ground that breeds all these mushrooms.Since time immemorial,we,the Proletariat have been working hard to support our family and our life.Efforts have been put in by our ancestors to make this world a beautiful place to live in.But,today,it seems that their "efforts" have been sterile. While saying We,the Proletariat,I don't aim at segregating people.I just find everyone belonging to this same category of Proletariat.Apportioning wealth and opportunity will never hit the fancy of powerful. We are encouraged to become workers.Being a thinker is difficult in today's world. And,I would accept this fact without a counter.Afterall, whatever I provide as a food for thought would never fill the stomach of oneself and his family.
We are not yet disenfranchised guys.Whether it be Karl Marx,Lenin,Rousseau or Aristotle, they have things in common. All of them put up different ways of running the whole system encompassing social, political and economic concerns.
So,whatever system we adopt,We,The Proletariat will always exist for we make the system work. And,this millenium will bring with itself recognition, value and respect for us.This is the problem with our society. There is a very thin line between the heros and the zeros. And,of course, perhaps unfortunately,We,The Proletariat belong to the latter class.
Let's work towards a better world.Amen!!
