मेरी सोच

मैंने जो कुछ सोचा तो
ख्वाब फिर सजने लगे ,
हवाएं तो फिर भी चल रही थी
खुशबूएं अब बहने लगी ।

मेरी सोच ने जीवन को
जीने की एक वजह दी,
यूं तो फिर भी जी रहा था मैं
पर इसने मुझे किसी के लिए मरने की एक वजह दी।

शायद मेरी सोच मेरे जीवन की राह है
कभी ना मिटने वाली मेरी चाह है,
ये मेरी सोच मेरे ख्वाब बनाते हैं
रातों को नींद में मुझे हँसना सीखाते हैं।

मेरी सोच मेरे कर्म की मोहताज है शायद
आवारा सड़कों पर घूमते हुए कभी साथ छोड़ देती है
कभी पास में खिले फूल की महक लेते हुए
मेरे दरीचे से सहमी हुई चली आती है ।

Summer of 2008

This summer of 2008
Took me to myself,
To my home,to my place,
Among my friends.

Filling me up with energy unknown,
Pumping me with joy my own,
Taking me on a tour to Life,
Making me feel the mango so ripe.

With her touch turned the summer
Into a spring of Love,
With leaves green and zephyr unscreened,
We boated till island,till it rained.

When we were together in summer of 2008
With fresh air and new hope and rain everywhere,
We lived millions of life
This summer of 2008.

I welcome all of you my friends to this "food for thought".Contemplation ,once considered to be the way of intellectuals,is today considered as a nuisance of mad.World is fast today,isn't it?Pretty fast.We don't get time for ourselves in this rat and cat race.The world has become a racing ground,life a race and we,the rats or cats.And,unfortunately,rats and cats are winning the race.

So,let's assemble here and share some ideas.Let's give each other some food for thought.Let's contemplate for a better tomorrow.
